📢 DKU Natural Resources Institute is opening a call for the project "Youth participation in solving environmental problems of Almaty", which will provide a discussion platform for young people in order to actively involve them in the environmental activities of the city.

👥Target audience and selection criteria:
Students of all undergraduate and graduate courses. The preference will be given to candidates with a high level of motivation, as well as applicants from vulnerable groups of the population, based on the principles of gender equality and the availability of the project for everyone.

👉🏻Application Process:

• Sending a motivation letter on the topic "Why do you want to participate in this project?"
• Filling out an online questionnaire.

⏭️ Project stages:

• 2-day thematic workshop (January 2022);
• the practice of selected participants in NGOs in Almaty (February - May 2022);
• reporting workshop (May 2022).

✅Purposes:

• Give young people with active citizenship the opportunity to take action.
• Motivate young eco-leaders to work with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
• Set the vector of city development using examples of environmental components (air, water, waste, etc.).
